Content Marketing Strategy By laurie390

I want to give you a content marketing strategy to help give your business exposure and bring in more traffic.  But first, let’s look at what “content” is.
A broad definition of content is information that is shared via written word, audio or video.  There is a huge need today for online business owners to continually provide content.  Why?  Because one of the main reasons people come to the internet today is for information.  If you can provide that information, you have a good potential of attracting readers that turn into new customers.
Back to the content marketing strategy I wanted to share with you.  Updating your blog frequently is a great way to share your knowledge and interact with your market.  Plus, you win lots of points with the search engines because you are updating your content regularly.  They love that!
By keeping your blog fresh, you will attract readers that will visit you again and again because they can count on getting new information when they come.  Some will likely share links to your posts on their social media pages and their own blogs.
Be sure to optimize each of your blog posts with appropriate keywords.  That way, if you are providing great content, you have a good chance of Google and the other search engines picking up and ranking your posts, which can send you lots of free traffic.
Another Tip:  I have seen many a post of mine picked up by Google Alerts, which is a free service you can sign up for and be alerted of new blog posts written on topics related to your niche.  You sign up for certain keywords in Google Alerts and then will receive emails of blog posts written on the subject.
Blogging is an effective content marketing strategy.  But how do you keep up with all that content?  You need it, not only for your blog, but for email messages and your website too.  If you have a hard time keeping up with the demand for new content, consider using PLR (private label rights) content.  PLR is content written by others that you purchase and can use for yourself.  It’s always recommended that you change it/add to it somewhat to make it unique.
When using PLR, get it from those who provide quality content.  You will be using it as your own content, so be sure you are purchasing it from writers who know what they are talking about and can present it in a clear, understandable manner.
Don’t go crazy trying to write every piece of content yourself.  Grab some PLR and try the marketing strategy described here – posting fresh, optimized content on your blog regularly.
